I actually don't like the HMO original line pieces, especially that base.

Same. Just because they are space-related characters doesn't mean they are the same. I think the HMO is more stylized (anime, animated), the SS is more realistic.

However, these definitely remind of a lot of resin kits being produced. There is one resin kit company that does a line just like this, different themed women.

I all glad this line isn't 1/4. It will make it much easier to display these together at a smaller scale.
