Question James (HFA) question on a Jim Lee piece

James is there any chance of this getting produced. I note that the original art is up for sale on Albert Moy site at the moment. It seems as though this was to be a litho.

bulls, this was a litho, available at the Warner Brothers studio store back in the day. I'm sure you could find one on ebay if you looked...

Actually, it was intended to be a litho for the WB stores, but it never got made, so it is "unpublished". There is a nice color version of it in the Jim Lee Wizard Hardcover (to give you a taste of what it would look like colorized). I don't see that there is any chance that it would ever get done at this point, as it was done quite a few years ago...perhaps as many as 8 years ago. I wonder if the original art was even properly archived (digitally)...I have seen the original art at Moy's and it is incredible!

I think word probably DID get out that it would be produced, but it never happened. There were 3 Jim Lee pieces the WB stores did that I know of:

Batman/Superman (World's Finest...how many pieces can you think of with THAT name??)

Batman/Robin (Partners in Fighting Crime)

...and YES, the "Girls" litho as well (which was done as a litho AND canvas giclee), but I think it was Wonder Woman, Batgirl, and Supergirl if I remember right. I'm a little rusty sometimes too!

Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?

Yeah, that one was titled "Heroines of the D.C. Universe" if I remember correctly. And I've been looking for a litho of it for years and can never find one for sale let alone an affordable one! When I first saw the piece a few years back as a preview I couldn't wait for the WB Store Exclusive litho....but then the WB stores in my area closed!!
