Wanna hear a crazy story?
I saw Batman and Catwoman in person, thought really good sculpts and size for the price, paint jobs seemed good too, so after seeing them in the LCS I decided to try the monthly subscription and get the Batman for the $5 deal.
Bats along with everything in the shipped box arrived damaged and the customer service rep was super nice, she told me they would ship me a replacement next day and that I could keep the damaged piece, even said they would refund my $5 and give me a discounted monthly subscription going forward at 20% off for the next four issues so naturally I was very impressed, wow such amazing customer service!
But then I never received any tracking number for the replacement. I figured oh I’m sure they’re gonna take care of me, and after two weeks with no package I called them back up and this other customer service rep, some guy was super rude and said that I should have been happy that I got it for $5 even if it was damaged and then he claimed they had shipped me a replacement and had delivery confirmation which i asked for proof since I didn’t receive it and he said would send an email and then I was disconnected. I never did get the email, so next day I called back and cancelled. Never got my refund either, but that’s okay since was only $5. I still have the broken bust somewhere. I will prolly try to fix and mod it one day.
I’d still like to get some of these, but that whole ordeal just turned me off of them. The LCS stopped carrying them too, for other reasons.
Nice to see the line continued past Two-Face. Scarecrow and Bane look awesome. Maybe I’ll gives these another try one day.
