Was under the assumption it was Jim Lee style but modernized like their other X-Men statues.

To go with all of their other statues, I’m sure it’s the Lee style with modern tweaks. Just like Storm was XM stylized.

It’s definitely Lee all the way. Can’t wait to see it painted.

You can't trust the Hive sketches.
They are always true to a style but when rendered in 3D, XM normally add details to "texturise" it.

That’s the 90s Jim Lee suit in your pic but the render shown on the previous page is not the same. The area around the neck has a mesh pattern and there’s definitely padding or armor on the shoulders. Was hoping for a classic design but It’s definitely going to be a variant.

Yes me too. Wish they would do classic design but they usually change small details on their statues and add things. Kinda bums me out.

I order mainly just the X-Men statues and they have for the most part had mesh, texturing and extra details not in the original Jim Lee outfits. I am fine with it. It keeps the statues from looking too toyish at the 1/4 scale. The smooth suits look good at 1/6, but can be lacking at 1/4.

If this is legit, it is vastly different from the concept art (including the hand placement). Just curious, where did you find the pic?
