How does 1:2>everything exactly? You only get a few characters(Iron Man, Hulk and a couple SW characters, pretty much A listers only), bland poses and bases mostly and it seems like SS doesn't really pursue that line. I think 1/4 will stay the most popular and 1/3 will grow too(because of P1 and PCS mostly).
I'm hoping they do a 1/3 Heath too, I think 1/2 limits the market by a big margin.

Because quality > quantity. Simple.

I dont care for 1:2 personally, they look like little kids in costumes - imo

Every 1/3 I've seen has been top notch quality. I've seen a lot of 1/2 Wolverines and Mauls posted here with issues, size doesn't equal quality lol.
Heck, I'd even say that some of the smaller scale PVC lines are more consistent in quality from what I've seen even though I don't really collect them. PCS's new 1/8 SF line looks really promising.

I hate it when people use that argument. Makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. A good 1:2 statue looks NOTHING like a little kid in a costume and the scale makes 1/4 and 1/6 stuff look pretty much useless.

Well i saw the 1:2 doom at my lcs and it literally looked like a child in a doom costume to me. Soooooo yea i dont care for the scale, doesnt mean youre not allowed to like it yourself - just my opinion
Im not sure how its so hard to believe a ~ 3' tall character in costume resembles a child in costume

He said it was personal gripe. I doubt anyone's trying to start an argument. Any statue scale can look off-putting compared to others if not displayed ideally, so if you've been fortunate enough to see a half-scale piece at a proper display height, you probably have a different opinion than others like myself who've awed at the detail but were thrown off by scale photos we've seen of collectors standing next to one, where it very much looks like a child by comparison. No one's saying the money isn't in the details a piece of that size can pull off compared to smaller scales; but you sound like the more aggressive one saying one makes the other useless. There's room in the hobby for everyone's tastes.

Let's keep it as 1:3 for the time being.
