This thing make no sense

Dont know why but some seller resell statue from SS factory sealed.iF you received an statue and dont inspect the box how do you know everything is fine.SS could send a rock and they will never noticed.I Just dont understand this kind of people refuse to open shipping box.Personally i will never buy a factory sealed statue on the second market.Open that box and show me some pictures.(bad experience about me and an seller refuse to open is ''factory sealed'' statue)

This was addressed/debated in a past thread. While I agree with your points, it turned out there were folks both on the buying and selling side of things that preferred to buy sealed statues, as it eliminates certain risks on both sides. However, I would still want in-hand pics of the statue itself. For all the complaints about PVC warping, paint rubbing on recent pieces like the Spidey PF and hollow parts breaking on Thanos, I don't necessarily trust people to store boxes in the appropriate climate or companies to package pieces in a manner that properly protects them. The seller however would be be 100% protected if you receive a piece in any such manner, so it's just sounds like an uneven risk, IMO.

Recently, I bought a new/sealed statue from a seller who would open it for inspection only after I paid for it. I had to return it anyway because the foot pegs didn't fit into the base.

I'm starting to think that everything I buy should be opened/inspected immediately, even from a physical store like Best Buy, Target, or Walmart before I go home.

Yep, when I get furniture or an appliance delivered, I make the delivery guy wait while I open and inspect. Sometimes it takes a bit and the delivery guy isn't happy but too bad. I want the same in my statues.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.
