What are the margins in a figurine company?

General consensus seems to be high margins, if so why are the figurines super expensive is it just a money grab? The minority believe it to be low margins, in which seems to be competing enough considering company is making the customer take the exchange rate and the shipping fee as "to be announced when delivered" or you'd get an email if the shipping fee has increased, not to mention wouldn't you be at a loss from the get go with just the license your already in net negative. So I was wondering is the majority wrong? Or does it depend on the class of figurine the mass manufactured type ABS & PVC resulting to a higher margin as there's no selling and they could always sell. While the resin limited editions ones are require the whole limited edition figurines to be all sold out hence low margins.
