And is it odd they made the variant to Bats here when they're trying to see that color scheme in a new PF?

It's not just you. I like it better than the original color but still not something I'm gonna get. The high tech belt also looks off with these colors.

When they did the OG Batman Blue variant, they changed the belt to a 70s style with the capsules and gave a Neal Adams swap out head.
This one just feels uninspired. "Let's repaint what we got!"
