the part of them retaining most of who they were bothered me too, i mean spidey felt genuinly disgusted that he killed MJ and May, and the other heroes felt the same amounts of guilt about what they had done, so what i always wondered is in their moments of clarity when the hunger wasn't in control why didn't they try and kill themselves to end the suffering they caused

So They're like vampires, they are smart but when the hunger comes they lose it. So why don't they eat before they lose it ? and why do they have to eat only human ? I only read about zombie FF from ultimate FF crossover story. And they were pretty much know what they are and what they were, yet consciencely acting evil and they killed all of the bexter building guards&employe for pleasure, not for hunger.

I have to say as cool as the first series was I am getting tired of looking at these Zombies already. And what's with all these Zombie variant covers Marvel's putting out of books that have nothing to do with Zombies? Leave it to Marvel to beat an original idea to death.

it is a fun read so i don't look too much at the logic of it.
in the first MZ series, some of them actually tried to do something about it when the hunger was gone (which was really funny/gross yet made sense). if i remember correctly, the ate pretty much anything (black widow as shown eating a poodle in 1 panel, to the shock of the owner). in fact, in this 1st issue of MZ2, they pretty much wiped out everything in the universe.

I agree with this thought Rich, i really didnt want these books to try and be funny. i wanted to be scared like i was while reading Ult FF

It was a great read, I wished they'd never sullied it with the humerous series.
Plus Greg Pak's art really did make it feel very realistic, which is the exact thing I wanted.
