I have loads of GG busts, Statues & bust-ups, but then they started raising the prices & IMO their quality started going down. Around Chewie & PRincess Leia, I bailed out

Now, all they seemed interested in is jubo figures

The concept Boba Fett and Queen Amidala might be two of the best they have ever done. I don't see the quality going down at all.

There are a couple angles where Rey looks so so and a couple that look fantastic so I'll just show her from one of the good ones.

I haven't noticed a decline in overall quality either. Like any line it has hits and misses but the hits far outweigh the occasional miss. I've been collecting these MBs for around 12 yrs now and I'd say this has been pretty consistent in that time. The only thing that has changed is production has slowed in the last couple years and prices have increased. That said GG's SW MB price increase has been far more reasonable than what I've seen in other lines from othe companies. Unlike those I still think the value is there with this product.

Concept was an exclusive & no interest in the chess pieces

I still think their earlier stuff holds up better than their latter stuff

I'm not sure where all this 'quality is going down' talk is coming from. It's quite the opposite. My first mini-bust was Venom and first 1/4 scale was Iron Patriot. The paint app on a 7" Venom puts a ton of bigger scale pieces from different companies to shame. Iron Patriot weighs a solid 14 lbs, is painted better, and with more precision than any other IM related piece from a certain company...especially their own IP statue. I recently picked up a Stormie mini-bust from GameStop. It's total edition size is 5,000; however, it's painted like a 10 ES piece. Hell no, Gentle Giant's quality isn't going anywhere but up.

Stormtroopers are an easy pass seeing as you don't have to get the likeness right! They even failed to get the mic tips correct from what I can see! Same goes for Iron Patriot

And these classic busts? Sorry, bust it's just an excuse for running out of ideas

Well, just because you don't like them it doesn't mean they are not good quality.

what I meant was because it was an exclusive, they put more effort into it, & no, the Stormie bust is lacking detail from what I can see
