I noticed. I think I was a little more lucky, as the clip broke in such a way that to glue it back would require the joins to be out of sight. I got the impression with your Derby blue clip was more broken, i could be mistaken.
Maybe the package design should have allowed more room around this area.
How did you get on with adding the base - putting the metal pin into the base. I found it required a fair amount of twisting while applying a downwards pressure, quite a bit of pressure. At one point it did not look possible to get Derby's wheels to connect with the base. I think the front wheels are about 1mm off. The left leg has connect, and the rear wheel's of the right leg have connected, so I guess that should be enough.
