These all would sell like hot cakes but we need to get passed this Little Mermaid quagmire. If mine comes faulty, it will leave a bad taste.

Alice priced at $400 is mind boggling.

With how fast prices have been inflating the past couple years. How can you possibly think comparing the price of a piece that released in 2007, to one releasing in 2019 is rational?
And premium formats are now hitting $560-$700

Tweeterhead is selling 1:6 statues for $270-$300 and I don't see many complaints about price over there, so I don't see a $400 price tag for a 1:5 statue that is very detailed unreasonable... Especially given SS is charging $550-$700 for 1:4 PF's..
I do see an argument for SS prices given the random QC you get with their statues..

Exactly. I have argued the same points on Facebook.
One guy said Moore used to be half the price of these. Well, Moore was 1/6 scale and if you look at his current Lady Death pieces, they are $350 And $400! So he is charging the same for 1/6 as Sideshows Alice which is 1/5 and more complicated.

Since Sideshow wanted to go big with Alice, they might as well have done this version and included Absolem and the twins.
Now if they charged 400 dollars for this, with the Cheshire cat too, that would have been a steal.
I'm still most likely going to buy Alice, which would commit me to the line up as far as my favorite classic characters go, but waiting cost me nothing.

If you don't care about the metal artwork, you can order it from Secret Compass for $381.00

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I have PO her along with tinkerbell (all exclusive versions). I just received the little mermaid yesterday but have not opened her yet. I have heard there were some assembly or defect issues. Hoping the others have very close to prototype quality on arrival. I love everything about Alice but does anyone else think her expression is a bit more duck pout compared to her original print? I know they were going for the surprised expression look. Still love her and getting her either way.
