cool, thanks guys. glad you like this version.

yeah your right SC. it def does. thats why i was hoping SS would have given these leather capes to begin with (same with Superman). just gives it that realistic look and feel to it ya know?

hopefully my Turner version will come out how i want it to. and im def going to be doing another version of this one.

ill post pics with this practice run cape as soon as i get my heads back from Raf.

Fully sculpted custom I'm working on a for a client

Body underneath looks great but there's A LOT of filling and sanding to do!

Chest emblem will be sculpted on. Underwear and belt will be mixed media

DM I have to admit I thought you were crazy when you started because I think the cape is great but this last cape you posted looks awesome! Can't wait to see it with the head on.

Also it seams to save a lot of display space!

this design is more based on, lets say the Arkham Asylum style of cape where it covers only part of the upper shoulders and does not come down and around over the chest like the Turner style of cape that i want to do.
but this looks pretty decent. not bad.
what do you guys think?

with and without flash.

It's beautiful, DM. Is that slot at the base of the head for a magnet when all is said and done?

i thought i was crazy too at first of even trying to attempt to do this.. any of the customizations ive done for that matter considering the price i paid for this thing,. lol
but thanks a lot of the kind words man. good to know people are liking this because i know how much of the majority of people love the sculpted cape.

and you right it does cut down on display space quite significantly. i think there should be no problem displaying this in a Besta along with another PF like Joker or even Ivy or the new Catwoman PF coming out. but i wouldn't know for a fact for i own a Pax

thank you Gomur. and yes that slot (which im guessing you referring to the circle in the center) is indeed for a magnet. ill be using high powered neodymium magnets just like the factory used for the cape and heads. its a 1/2 inch in diameter by 1/4" thick. and these babies are super powerful and wuill def hold the heads on securely.

awesome bro! yeah the body sculpt is very rough underneath i spent all day last sunday sanding / rescupting areas. the body is ridiculously rough under the material and the resin they used is very difficult to sand - its nothing like what i was expecting lol

did you leave the trunks on and just remove the cloth from underneath? im considering doing another one later down the line "classic style" and was thinking about reusing them but the ones i removed from my own new52 style got pretty beat up during removal

i purchased mine on amazon.
here are the exact ones i purchased. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ref=pd_rate_rs

but there is all kinds of different shapes and sizes on there. i bought these becasue they were the same size in diameter than what was used for on the cape and heads. but i do not know what the thickness was. i went with 1/4" because i didn't want to go too thin in case those wouldn't be powerful enough to pull through the material and resin ill be using to secure the magnet in place.
