A conclusion is simply the place where you got tired of thinking.

The XM Thanos is still the best if you want a more traditional, classic Thanos so it really depends on what you want. This Sideshow Thanos is more of an amalgam of the traditional with modern elements, Sideshow style. I really like what Sideshow has done with this Thanos. On the other hand, I really hate what they've done with Deathstroke.

I think it depends on your collection and personal tastes.
If you have finite space/$, then you might only want one statue per character and maybe this is the Thanos for you.
But if you collect multiple versions of your favorite characters, then the more the merrier.
I have no problem adding this to my XM, various Bowens and custom Thanos statues.
I will happily add as many Thanos, Thor, Green Lanterns, etc. as the statue companies produce.

Love how the fingers on his right hand are embedded into the skull, it's like he's so pissed that someone dares challenge him that he starts crushing his own throne.

I've been reading a lot of the Marvel cosmos comics lately so I'm excited for this.

Well, he did say "in his mind". I own the XM Thanos and LOVE IT. That said, I'm a big fan of the CLASSICS so that's why the XM Thanos speaks to me. Also, I really dig the many switch out parts.
I do like the MAQ a lot from what I've seen so far. I will say I do wish SSC would've done one glove with the Infinity Gauntlet and another with him holding the cosmic cube. Other than that, I'm patiently waiting to see how much this MAQ will cost.

I never really saw the XM Thanos as being classic. Until the movie I don't ever remember him wearing a helmet. Also the suit and boots especially are very different than the classic costume.
I think the SS portraits are much more classic looking than the XM piece.
