I looks like BBTS has an updated up-close image of his cowl & portrait. The sculpt is really nice for a Royo piece, but I'm gonna guess that this new image is a production photo because it's extremely glossy now. I swear, why can't companies just keep it the same? Why do they always have to change it up for the worse? The matte finish of his cowl was picture perfect on the prototype, but now they have go and ---- it all up by glossing it over. I'm sure his once matte finished cape will be the same way. God...

I just messaged Yamato and got a quick response. The image below, which is currently up on BBTS is an old image that should be disregarded...

This is the current, correct image that Yamato posted on Facebook on December 23rd...

Thank God and thanks for looking into it, near. Much appreciated. I take back everything I said earlier.

No problem. I was worried, too. Whoever responded from Yamato said they'd contact BBTS about the wrong image on their site.

Nice video review.... The base looks awesome but I'm not a fan of the bull fighter pose or the oversize utility belt... Also something about the sculpt of his body looks off.

I really wanted to like this one but for me both Batman and Joker from Yamato have been passes.... but I do love the DC ladies Yamato has sculpted....

If you see a bull fighter pose, then I can understand why you'd pass. It's just not what comes to my mind when I look at the statue. As for the body sculpt, I don't have any problem with it at all. I think it's excellent.

Ye gods. I'd not truly appreciated how huge the base is. Thanks for the review.
