Not to me. I think the sculpt is spot on ...and the proportions are good.

That is one thing I though when I first saw him as well. But then I did a comparison with the Fine Art and it looks like his waist and back (lats) aren't as wide. His shoulders look like they are not as wide either. Not sure if that makes him appear thinner. Then I widened his waits and lats to see if it made him appear wider...

But now looking at them side by side I like the detail of the ArtFX.

I thought the waist on the Fine Arts version (top right) was too wide. It gave Cap a bodybuilder look. Whereas, the ArtFX version (top left) has a athlete/acrobat/fighter look to him.

And I too like the details on the ArtFX Cap more.

not really sure why Koto has taken so long to do these. The DC versions have been hits all this time.

Loved that Kotobukiya surprised us with this new ArtFX Cap. Its exactly what I was waiting for.

Hoping they will also surprise us with other characters in this line ...and soon rather than later.
