Add WW to the thread title? Rename to just DC Trinity?

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Not sure about the portrait, it doesn't look like Ross artwork to me. Her thighs are way too bulky.

It looks like a classic comic version WW but not necessarily a Ross WW. It is not a bad sculpt but it fails to get me excited.

This will make a great centerpiece for my Wonder Woman statue collection. Very classic look.

WW statue looks good. A nice classic Wonder Woman. She has very big hair... But it doesn't look bad or anyhting.

Dumb DC don't recognise the Trinity name for Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman because it isn't something from Silver Age...

They even made an terrible event called Trinity War which wasn't a war between Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman... Well, i don't even remember what it was about, but it was just a lame stepping stone to bring the new 52 Crime Sndycate in to the main earth from their paralel earth, earth 3 or whatever to start the Forever Evil Event.

And Tom King will use the Trinity name for Wonder Woman's daughter in his run now. I don't understand what is this Silver Age obsetion with DC... That they just keep on trying to use Trinity name for something else... I believe there are many DC Comics readers out there who don't care about Silver Age, just like ME ! lol

Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman are The TRINITY to me, no matter what Dumb DC Comics do.

So LBS has a competitor, interesting.

I'm not sure which one to get or how it would fit have to think on this and weigh costs and all. Wonder woman is the single character I am spoiled for choice on.

I think Alex Ross is one of the, if not the most ground breaking artists of this generation. As an art collector I own one of his original paintings. As a statue collector, I have to admit that when I hear his name connected to the DC trinity in statue form I get so bored. How many companies have done their Alex Ross Superman or Batman? In these similar poses? Having said that... these are so nice. I can’t stop looking at that Wonder Woman turn. Maybe it isn’t 100% like the source material, but what a successful piece. Please don’t make me buy this, lol.

Damn that WW is awesome. Will order this in the morning. Is there another one released by another company?

While both are nice, I tend lean towards the Iron Studios version. I like the fuller trunks and the portrait more. The brushed metallic colors work a bit more than the chromed. I also prefer the way the paint apps on the portrait and her hair were handled a bit more on the IS version. You can't go wrong with either thought unless there is a huge price difference between the two. I think the trio would work better if Supes cape flowed the opposite direction as Bats but I know they are based on existing work by Ross. As I've mentioned before, I'm kind of OD'ed on Ross statues but if you are going to do them these are the nicest I've seen.

Oh and is there an advantage to ordering from a particular website or even from Iron Studios directly?
