The SS piece is a 1:5 fail scale night light and this is a 1:1 movie prop replica with a classy base.

Its like explaining something to a child..but these are "experienced collectors"..so sideshow is a large company and when a large company produces 2,000 5 inch "light up" alien eggs they can sell them for less than a smaller company like Chronicle when they produce 100 to 200 1:1 scale JP eggs. Somebody was asleep during their high school economics class.
