My Riddler was shipped in Nov. of 2016 a good 6-7 months before Tweeterhead even announced they had the Super Powers licence. So no, it had absolutely nothing to do with that. I did get this official response though......"As for the number [of your Riddler], we had some damaged ones come in and we are just not able to match it this time. We are so sorry." Translation....we screwed up.
And yes, Tweeterhead did provide matching numbers for the classic Batman line as well. Now in that case I was told I didn't get matching numbers because sales of Noir Batman and Robin were very poor and that only 30 something of each of these statues was ever produced. Does anyone really believe a company is going to shut down production of a statue, 15 statues short of a complete run? Give me a break. Either way, since my matching numbers are in the 40's...guess what? On a side note, if anyone is missing a Noir Batman and Robin [both #7/50] know that they are in a good home.
It's just as well they are no longer offering matching numbers because if the couldn't pull that off with the classic Batman line and it's ES of 50, they sure as hell wouldn't be able to pull that off with a Super Powers line with ES's starting in the several hundreds. .
