WTH?! Why wasn't there any notice of charging? Now I've got a charge through PP almost immediately after the shipping notice. I don't have the funds and didn't get a change to gather them for the charge...!

Wasn't expecting to be charged today either, but it's good that I had the funds in my Paypal account. I was pretty sure they would only charge once it would be about to ship.

"The settlement of the balance will be done automatically at the time of shipment."

That's on the earlier notice. Just would've figured that if they said it would ship within two weeks you would have had at least a few days to settle the balance.

Sideshow ALWAYS sends out notice of charging. I will be upset and heartbroken if they cancel my order. I'm going to email them.

So I'm looking at my PayPal and it says it's been charged as a "preapproved payment".

Reading up on that: "A preapproved payment is permission for the merchant in this case to charge your order at a later time. Once the order has been accepted, the preapproved payment plan will drop from your account."

So does that mean P1 hasn't officially charged us yet?

My paypal also said "pre-approved payment", but the amount has been deduced off my credit card and on the Prime 1 website order details "Installment Status" section, it says "paid", so it looks like they have completed charging me.

What does your Prime 1 "Installment Status" say?
