This is just horrible. On the news this morning they changed the death toll to 12. They're also saying he entered the front of the theatre dressed all in black wearing a gas mask, goggles, riot helmet, and bullet proof vest, then he fired a shot into the air and threw a tear gas canister into the audience before he opened fire on them.

Sadness, anger and helplessness is what I am feeling right now to this horrible tragedy.

I am surprised someone was able to carry weapons inside. Didn't realize that there are no metal detectors at the cinemas there. Ever since the Mumbai terrorist attack happened few years ago, they implemented that here in India. Most city malls have the attendees go through metal detectors and it is repeated again including being patted down when they enter the multiplex.

Now that this happened, most likey they might start doing it ti provide safety to their patrons.

He came in the front of the theatre through a fire exit so a metal detector wouldn't make a difference. From what's being said now, he left the theatre through the fire exit, propped the door open, went to his car and got geared up then came back in and opened fire.
