A couple of prototype vs production piece images, taking stills from the video.

It's a great effort. The bike damage on the base isn't quite as good. They appear to have omitted the dirt from the tyre tread. The scratches don't to be quite as good (i'm being super picky here). The eye's of the unmasked portrait appear to be looking in a better direction.

Just less details in certain spots. I think they did a better job on the eyes in the production on the EX. Super excited to get this.

honestly i think thats damn good for a mass produced statue, i would be very ok spending my hard earned money on that. i mean comparing something that a master painters work to a factory worker youre always going to have some differences

Why is it that production pieces always seem glossier than prototypes? Is it for durability or something? It's usually the biggest difference I notice in proto vs production pics.

I spotted that also. The tarmac style base looks shiny compared to the proto. Matte works better. The red on the bike looks more orange/less dark red, but that could be caused by the video?

Definitely different lighting. I remember when the deadpool PF video got released we went through the same questions, but the actual piece is not as glossy as the video and picture made it look

I'm guessing they use different more durable paints on production pieces that have to survive shipping and boxing, unboxing etc.
