regardless how people speculate on the price, Sideshow will just do what they want anyway.

The people who've already set a limit on what they're willing to spend will just wait and see what it comes out at. If its within their range they'll pick it up...if not, well there are a ton of other pieces coming down the line of other characters (DC!!!)

on the other side you have people with a ton of disposable income and will buy it regardless. Sadly I've known a few collectors who've also accrued a ton of credit card debt as well in this hobby that they simply can't pay off simply because they have to have the latest thing. Living paycheck to paycheck is not something I'm willing to do, but many are so its all up to them...to each their own I guess

Personally I put it all into perspective. I'm getting married in 3 months and our monthly mortgage payments will be somewhere around $1100-1300 each month. Not a huge amount but its still a nice chunk of cash each month for my first home. If Sideshow thinks I'm spending the same amount of cash on a statue that I do on my house payments...well they'll lose me as a customer. I have a great time in this hobby but I'm not putting a financial strain on myself in order to participate in it.

I'm capping myself at $650 for this piece which is roughly the same amount I'll pay for the Batman 1:1 when its all said and done. Will it likely be priced higher than $650? Sure. Will i care? Nope.

Well said and i completely agree
I'm retired and although i'm comfortable financially, i simply won't overspend on an item such as this...there are just too many other more important things in life

I love this hobby but in the end it's just that...a hobby

If i don't feel a certain comfort level with a piece regarding price then it's an easy pass for me...regardless of how great it looks
$599 is my comfort level with this one...anymore and i'll take that money and use it towards a trip to Europe ?, property taxes ?, new camera ?....who knows

I do know i'll spend it wisely

$599. Will probably buy, waiting to see the movie before taking the decision.

People who missed out and want the first PF will buy this because it is believed it will reach grail status, much like what people think of the Captain America movie PF. There's no doubt this is going to be costly and as pointed out this is 30+ inches and considering the popularity of the Hulk, specifically this Hulk, SS will milk their costumers. I would like to think this will be less than $600 but I think that is a pipe dream.

I only started to seriously collect statues in the last 2 years, primarily SS pieces, and it was fun in the beginning but now, my enjoyment of this has waned. The increase in price and the qc problems has made me wonder why I put so much money in to these.

I don't how some of you guys do this.

Around $600, but shouldn't be more than $450-$500...can't believe I bought the original pf for $325...seems ridiculous to charge so much for the new one.

$325?! I can't believe any of these statues that retailed for $300 are going for over $1500!

Sweet, I've been out of the country for a while, first thing I see is this baby coming out. It's big, it's huge, it's Hulk...it's ordered!
