Wouldn't that be kind of tough to do? How would XM know what is going to sell like hotcakes beforehand? They can guestimate....but never know for certain.
Let's take the Hawkeye for instance. It seems better to announce a higher ES and see what the market is doing on the Hawkeye. What happens if the Hawkeye is selling less than expected...at a crawl sale wise once they get to 500 - 600 or so? Then they can adjust.
I've never heard of people complaining about decreasing an ES size as opposed to increasing it after it has been announced.
This is all just conjecture on my part.
Shoot for the stars first then cut back as needed. This works out great in XMs case since they are capping ES sizes at 999. Only thing is...how do you number the statues...hmmm.
