There was the issue of the lip thickness, has this been corrected?

Hmmmm, perhaps the lips wont look so bad in person.
I plan to view this piece first before parting with any money.
I'm looking to buy the Bust but if the lip looks OK, i will buy the statue instead.

If i were HCG, i would have never added the ribbing around the front of the dome and of course made the lip much shorter.
Its nice having something made from the original moulds but there seems to be some additional details added which was not required.

Still a nice piece, i want to congratulate HCG but that flipping Lip still annoys me!

Hi All

I've just been looking at the ALIEN movie, checking all scenes featuring the creature.

From looking at the distance shots, there is a large Lip, but on the close up scenes, the Lip is much much shorter.

I now honestly feel the Lip is correct, BUT we all like the shorter Lip as it makes the creature look more deadly

When watching the film, its the close up scenes that stick in your head, i did not realise the Lip was larger on scenes featuring a full image of the creature.

So the worn suit was very much different to the close up mechanical models.

Will try and add some screen grabs.

I like this Bust more and more.

If you compare this to the suit/head upon which it was referenced, you will clearly see the proportions are correct. This is as accurate as one should expect for a collectible bust. By far the best representation of the original Xemomorph thus far.
