soft drink/beverage collectors
Does anyone here collect drinks? I have been wondering if drinks are more valuable opened, cleaned and empty or left unopened and in tact... I kind of think closed would be the answer but also I know that with time pressure and time the liquid in the can will evaporate, but since I do not collect soft drinks I have been wondering about this all week long
I hope someone knows this answer or can point .me in the right direction to some sources on the subject.

I actually still have a Padme Pepsi (I think) can from Phantom Menace. I intend on picking up some of the Dita Von Teese Perrier bottles one of these days.
I'm deciding if I want a full case or just a few bottles of the wine with a Sylvia Ji illustration.
To your question, I would assume that the cans or bottles are best kept unopened.

The older the bottle and design the better but I 'm talking about 50 + years ago and still sealed would be a bonus and it also depends on the type of glass used to make that bottle, sorry plastic or cans really don't count

I still have a sealed bottle of Romulan Ale I got from the Star Trek Experience in Las Vegas years ago. I wonder if it improves with age?

It will if it is stored properly in a climate controlled room and turned once a QTR, Yes, but Romulin Ale based on Star Trek is suppose to make you forget what Planet your on anyway.
