I ordered the store exclusive. $380 AUD delivered, not bad. First statue I've pre-ordered in over a year.

Tinker Bell was the tipping stone. I don't think I'll order her but I like her a lot so will probably like other future releases. If not then I don't mind, The Little Mermaid will display fine on her own.

I would really love to jump into this line full force but I just don't trust Sideshow to be able to replicate that exquisitely detailed face.

Her eyes are perfect plus look at that finely detailed freckle work!



I have this itch of POing both the variant and the ex that I SO want to scratch but I'm trying to restrain myself until in hand pics surface of her.

This sucks cause if Sideshow had more of a proven track record, I'd PO all pieces of this line with no hesitation.

I'd be surprised if the factory put freckles on her. It's rare if any of SS production statues have the same level of details as the prototypes.

My main concern isn't necessarily the freckles (because I don't see the production pieces having them), but the makeup and eyes. I'm going to be livid if they f**k her face up.

They better put the freckles on her! I specifically asked in this thread if the statue would have freckles and Alex said the piece would have freckles....just like she does. The freckles are one of the little details that make this piece pop and honestly, one of the main reason I'm getting it.

I'm worried about the hair not having any of the dark auburn tone. That color works great with her eyes.

If I didn't want the freckles and dark hair -- I would have just gotten the LCBS version.

Has Sideshow ever released proto pics of a piece that included freckles before? I can't imagine they would choose to go through the trouble of adding them to a prototype only to abandon them completely in production.

The new Red Sonja. But we haven't seen production pics yet.

Campbell loves freckles and they are a signature of his.
