I believe it is a soft vinyl static figure, so no nasty joints. I don't do figures generally, but I'll make an exception here.

yeah you can look at this as a soft vinyl statue.
it does look nice, but will the production piece look as nice as this one shown here? thats yet to be seen. i may pick it up as well if it looks like this

Nice looking figure at a not too bad price. 18 to 20 inches high is cool. Doesn't look articulated or poseable...I don't mind the pose as is.
The Japan Company Kaiyodo usually has good products with good quality control.
