Anyway I think even for this market this statue is not really well
executed.
For me this just another complete failure.

??? What are you talking about? Artgerm is popular worldwide.

Most likely since a lot of people seem like comic purists.

Yeah, funny thing is there were a lot of people complaining that the first PF didn't look like the Artgerm print. Now there are people complaining because the head sculpt does resemble his art.

It defiantly resembles the art but the statues eyes just seem to be off from the artwork the shape of them seem to be a bit different and they also seem to be spaced further apart then the artwork.
That said, I also think there is better Artgerm artwork to use other then the one they did choose..

Yup, they're larger and got pulled to the sides as well, making her look like Selina Kyle on Gotham.

I, on the other hand, think it's a brilliant 3D adaptation of his artwork, perhaps the best I've ever seen.

Seeing them side by side, the gap between the eyes are slightly bigger on the statue then the artwork. But for me personally, I just don't care for the artwork, her face is way to anime for my tastes.. I also think what's making the statue look bad is the horrible lighting...
Artgerm has done more realistic looking Supergirl Artwork, I wish Prime 1 would of used one of those..

If you draw an imaginary line between the inner corner of her eyes and her lips, you'll find they're at about the same distance.
