Civil War to make a comeback in 2015
It's still unknown what kind of comeback it will be. Some say it could be an animated adaptation or could be the continuation of the comic.

I really liked Civil War when it hit. One of the rare times even most of the side stories were enjoyable. But, it concluded, ended, finito'. Hope they don't just dig it up & mess w/ it's original & sound conclusion. But ... I guess Marvel's refreshing things up for Cap. III.

Its probably part of the teased Secret Wars event. Theyve also teased House of M, Planet Hulk, "Years" of Future Past, Age of Ultron vs Marvel Zombies, Infinity Gauntlet, Old Man Logan...
Time travel shenanigans i reckon.

It's either what if.. or.. More interesting..
recently.. if you've been reading hickman's new avengers.. the main story is incursion by other earths .. and the heroes are going and destroyign these earths.. and fighting their heroes.. they already did a pseudo JL earth .. i won't spoil any more..
So my theory is, that we'll see stories from the earths..where civil war is yet to occur.. or goes differently.. by the same creative teams.. a chance to go bk.. but.. organically.. same for Old Man Logan .. another earth.. similarly, the rest.. and all this is part of the main event.. Secret Wars..
This is what cements it a bit for me.. guess who is writing Avengers / new Avengers .. and the new Even Secret Wars ! HICKMAN !

Love what Hickman is doing with the Avengers. For me the most promising thing has been his attempt to add New Universal characters like Starbrand and Nightmask in MU proper. The "White Event" that Warren Ellis did a few years ago had some very promising stuff in it....

I wish people would at least wait to see what all these teasers are actually for before making all the "House of Ideas" wisecracks and dismissing these as pointless rehashes. There have been way too many of these teasers to assume that Marvel is honestly doing another full-length Civil War, House of M, Days of Future Past, etc. all at once.

marvel needs to get with the program with animated movies. dc is blowing them out of the water in that department, granted the only area theyre outdoing marvel but still. I would love to see some well animated movies bringing classic and orginal stories to the small screen. give me an uncanny x-force movie similar to suicide squad, oh and a civil war movie too...
