There is an actual movie called Atlantic Rim. Like EnShinNoi said, it's a "mockbuster" of Pacific Rim.

I hope this isn't the end of the line, because I don't think they picked either of the best Kaijus to make so far.

man this thing looks SAF!! def want to get this whole line. and i hope they make all of the kaiju and Jaegers. i too want to see leatherback and otachi. i also want to see one of the c4s that were guarding the breach. the one with the bulls horns. that one looked sick. what i could make out of it anyway..lol

I don't think Striker Eureka was a top 2 Jaeger either (and that's coming from an Aussie) but for the sake of promotion, it makes sense opening the line with those that had the most important screen presence.

i like the one at the very beginning that takes out the golden gate bridge too. that one was cool looking as well. would like to see that one made into a statue too.
