Is the Sotar 20/20 that much better then the 360
I have been using the single action Badger 200 and the double action Badger 150XF for the last 24 years. At some point I also added a double action Aztek. About a year ago while I was at the IPMS nationals and missed out on sale prices for the Sotar 20/20 (they sold out). So for about 90 bucks I bought the Badger Universal 360 and have been using it for about a year and half. I would like some input from the gang about the Sotar and if in fact it that much better? The 360 works fine but the fine line detail seems to lack fine paint atomization for a "soft" spray pattern. I have tried to dilute the paint more, tried different paints, and set different PSI as low as 8 PSI but can not get a "soft" spray but instead I get a little overspray. Before I purchase a fifth airbrush and spend another $250 dollars, I would like to know if there is that much of a difference. I heard the Micro lock (or what ever it is called) on the back comes in handy when doing pencil thin lines. Is this true?
