The Marvel Omnibus Thread

I figure there are enough fans of this format to justify its own thread. We can discuss what is already out, future releases and what we would like to see.

Wouldn't mind seeing a big, fat Avengers $100+ tome, starting w/ issue #1.

Werewolf by Night would be fun as would a Killraven Omnibus printing everything he's ever been in.

Have -
Punisher (Ennis)
Captain America (Brubaker v1)
Mighty Thor (Simonson)
Amazing Fantasy
Incredible Hulk 1
Fantastic Four 2
Amazing Spiderman 1
Invincible Iron Man 2
Mighty Thor 1

Do you buy any of the Marvel Masterworks line?

I buy both, and I love both, but some of the omnibi are a bit unwieldy to read due to their size.

I guess it's more fun reading those than doing curls.

Over the past couple of weeks, I read these two Captain America ominibi volumes which cover issues 1-43 and some mini series and one shots. I thoroughly enjoyed the read. I truly believe that Brubaker will be remembered as this generations best comic book writer. I am now reading Volume III. Totally recommended!

Volume I was a Valentine's day gift from my wife back when it was released. I was never that big of a Cap fan before I read this run, this book totally turned me around on the character. Brubaker has cemented his spot amongst the greats with his work on Cap IMO.

Totally with you. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the series. It's books like these that remind how much I truly love reading comic books.

Protector, I have Vols. 1 & 2 of the Essential Werewolf By Night. I highly suggest picking those up if you don't already have them.
