As iconic as iconic gets.

His run on Wonder Woman is arguably the best the character has ever seen. Not to mention the company wide events like Crisis.

And .... George is gone. The comics community, including us here, lost Mr. Perez today. He's with his buds now, creating comics in the afterlife. Neal Adams & George Perez within 2 weeks of each other.

I cannot imagine what comics would have been like had George never pursued a career as a comic book artist

I do not think that anyone has left the legacy that he has in the comic field. Even though he is gone we can and will still enjoy his work for decades.

The Perez/Wolfman run on “New Teen Titans” made me fall in love with the comic medium. I was fortunate to meet the man once, and he was exactly what you would hope.

My all time favorite artist. I met him at Cons 3 times and have 5 head sketches from him. A LEGENDARY artist and even better human being. He will be greatly missed.
