A legend and the greatest Batman artist of all time in my opinion.

May he rest in peace.

He drew Batman as he should be. I dream of his version on the screen someday though I know that is a long shot. His work will live forever.

The other thing about Neal Adams he got DC to give Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster some royalties for Superman and was an advocate for artists being treated fairly

My first exposure to Neal Adam's art was from Green Lantern - Green Arrow story about drugs. I was hooked from that day forth and bought what I could find of his work. RIP.

His run on the last bunch of issues on the original X-Men series remain some of the coolest comic art of all time. One of a kind.

So terribly sad. Right up there with Kirby and Ditko in terms of sheer talent. One of the last greats of the silver age, along with John Romita, Sr and Jim Steranko. He’d been sick for a while and his death is a loss for so many. I’m so grateful I was able to speak with him a few times, get to talk comics with him, get to make and hear him laugh, win his praise for my comic book knowledge, and also have him challenge me on my opinions.
