The other thing that is confusing to me is that we are getting them out of order. I thought Joker was next then Supergirl.

Supergirl was number 4 and Joker is number 5.
Well a lot of collectors are always interested in what is coming next so they try to keep ahead of it, and typically it would be a steady stream of pre-order and releases. In an ideal world it would be great if they just put the statue up when they have it ready to ship. But then we would never have months to complain about it
It'll be better soon.

So awesome when Sideshow did that with the Green Jean Gray. Announced and up for sale one day, on my shelf the next day.

Yeah, she was a repaint of a statue that we had ample time to process over a year. But I agree and I sometimes wait till things are in stock because I, like most collectors, love instagratificaton.

It feels like wait times and delays are getting bad with all companies. Is it because there’s too many companies competing for factory space or does each company have it’s own factory and companies are just getting too many licenses? I don’t know how that works. Prime 1 has ship times 18 months out from their POs and that doesn’t even include the inevitable delays. At least TH isn’t like that!

That was awesome. Mine took an extra day, but the shortest wait thus far.

I think the short answer to your question is that these companies use the same factories, and since we have so many companies with multiple licenses (plus the customs) factories can't keep up.
Ultimately I'm done pinning delays and qc issues on the statue companies or the factories. We have to start holding Marvel/Disney and WB/DC accountable for just taking a check and then turning a blind eye to what's happening. They have more than enough money to set up factories and place them anywhere in the world. This could potentially cut down on recasting as these factories would be monitored. The big license holders could easily say to SS,XM,P1, and whoever else that they have to use these factories or lose the license. It's not look they'll say no. Now I know if this were to happen there would be expenses passed on to consumers, but aren't we at that point already? Prices aren't going down, they will only go up, and delays will not go anywhere if things stay as they are. At least if I have to pay more money I'd like to see my purchase delivered within a few months after the prototype reveal.
