Walt Disney Classics Collection is releasing a Chernabog in a similar pose in December. Everyone that has seen the final painted version has nothing but praise for it.

I would hold off and get that one instead. It is sculpted by Ruben Procopio. Most of you are familiar with his Electric Tiki stuff.

I love Ruben's work, and I've seen his upcoming Chernabog... It's awesome, as usual! But I personally wouldn't suggest holding off on buying one of these lamps, especially if you find it at a good price.... Both sculpts are superb, but the light-up feature on this piece is too cool and really makes the piece stand out. Looks like it stepped right out of the film when it's lit up.

That said, I'll probably have to spring for the WDCC version too when it comes out! Ruben is my hero.
