BATMAN: DEATH OF THE FAMILY BOOK AND THE JOKER MASK SET!

BATMAN VOL. 3: DEATH OF THE FAMILY, the complex, dangerous and disturbing masterpiece written by Scott Snyder and James Tynion IV with art by Greg Capullo, Jonathan Glapion and Jock, was first issued in hardcover featuring an acetate dust jacket showcasing the face of The Joker as it appeared on the die-cut covers of the “Death of the Family” comic books — and under that dust jacket lay the horror of The Joker’s skinless face!

Now, this seminal Batman trade paperback graphic novel is paired with a replica hand-painted vinyl latex mask of The Joker that features sewn-on hair and a white elastic band. It’s a must-have for any fan of Snyder and Capullo’s groundbreaking work!

BATMAN: DEATH OF THE FAMILY BOOK AND THE JOKER MASK SET goes on sale September 24th, 2014, for $39.99.

Cool idea, but I can't stand this story. Easily the worst thing I've read from Snyder. Court of Owls was much more interesting in my opinion. But nothing can touch the Black Mirror for me. It's in my top 5 favorite Batman stories. I thought DOTF was just trying too hard to be shocking. It didn't have near the impact of Death IN the Family.

I am telling you, people may forget it quickly or not even recognize the fact that Dick Grayson was a damn good Batman.
