Man I cannot believe how cheap White Squall is. Did you pick it up Tony?

On those 3D titles, does anyone here have a 3D TV? Sony dropped the price on the PlayStation 3D display. It's tempting. But reviews are all over the place and many are having problems with it.

I could be wrong but I don't think there is a lot of love for 3D from those of us participating in this thread so you might have a hard time getting an informed response here.

Speaking for myself I certainly wouldn't waste my money on a 3D TV. When they devise a set that doesn't require the use of glasses and when 3D gets widely adopted by the video game industry I may revise my position however.

I know, I don't get why it's so cheap? And yes, I picked it up, how could I not at that price?

Good man. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts after you watch it. I'm going to try and watch mine tomorrow.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Ordered mine as well, been waiting forever for a anamorphic widescreen version and then blu-ray version of this one. Love this flick, gifted it several times as a DVD, and with it now on blu at this price, will do so again.

As far as why this one is being released at the low price, it's being released by Mill Creek, and they pretty much always release catalog titles on the cheap. They have been notorious for subpar transfers, but from what I've read they've stepped up their game for this release as well as others.

This is what's known as WIN-WIN baby!!!

Ah ha, that explains that! Glad to hear this transfer is better than some of their past ones, thanks for the info!

I have one; I never use it myself but it only cost me a couple bucks for the upgrade to 3D which my kids really wanted it. It is neat but to be honest the novelty wears off quick.
