Just picked up The Game and Kurosawa's Rashomon.
Rashomon is the only Criterion title I need currently. How much did that one run you with shipping Tony?

I got free shipping since I bought the two movies. So I paid the movies + tax and it came to $43.50 give or take a few cents.

Picked up The Game as well, along with Shallow Grave. Plan on picking up Something Wild, The Night of the Hunter, Blow Out, Charade and Broadcast News before this one is over.

All good titles, the only one I've yet to pick up is Something Wild.

Thanks, I'm not a Criterion sycophant by any means, but they do have a lot of good-great movies in their library, the higher prices, notwithstanding. Outside of that half dozen, there's about two dozen others I'd like to have, but money is always a consideration, with all the other blu-rays that I want at a much lower price. This half off sale is always a good place to start though.

I only buy Criterions during half off sales, and there's usually 3-4 of them a year so...

Yah, me too, it's just hard for me to convince myself that $20 is a good price point, when $10-$15 is my usual price point for anything else, save for about half a dozen times a year. Saving myself from that early purchaser's regret that I experienced so many times back in the DVD days.

Bought Bolt from Target (in store) the other day for $20 bucks and it came with a free movie ticket for Wreck it Ralph.

Well, Criterions are always expensive, so $20 is just fine with me. I don't remember any sales during the DVD days on them, I think I always paid full price, and I won't even mention laserdisc.

I also really am trying to avoid a repeat of the DVD era and being more frugal in my purchases, I always look for sales and wait to buy as long as I can.
