Well, here's to hoping it comes through. This is the most I've ever spent on any collectible in 35 years of collecting, and if it wasn't Bowie related, I wouldn't. The cost of statues nowadays has gotten out of hand and really not worth it imo. $1,500, $2,500, $3,500 a pop, it really is insane.
Prices have gone up, but so has the price of everything. At least the pieces we get now are for the most part much better quality then even just a few years ago(except sideshow)

Congratulations! I'm glad to see some of these actually getting into people's hands. I saw some posted on the CC facebook page showing theirs also. Since then, I went ahead and paid the last payment on my Jareth piece, so hopefully it will be shipping soon.

Hi,

I received my doorknockers as well.
I plan to drill them to the outside wall of my house.
Do you guys know whether they can rust when exposed to the outside?

I guess that would depend on what type of metal these are cast in. Personally, I wouldn't expose them to the harsh elements seeing as they are a collectible, and I don't see anyone making them again in the near future, but that just my opinion.
