The angel base might be colored this way to be better paired with other characters from top cow. Hopefully there will be more info on this or we're just continue to ----- and gripe about this.

As it stands i can imagine there to be 2m characters flanking each side of the angel making this piece into a 1/4 scale diorama lol...

I was wondering if anybody determined if you can display the statue WITHOUT the angel? Kinda like Black Widow where you could have the full wall or the half wall.

Unknown Demona....I know Magdalena and DV have gotten the most flack from statue collectors. Carnage has gotten a fair share but its more due to the paints and tongue of the heads and teeth. So I see XM reworking a few things on Magdalena...and with DV....its mostly about the flat, lifeless, detailed less paints.

OMG....did anyone see how flat the playdough looking thing Anakin is standing on? Is that supposed to be sand? Bantha poodoo he is standing on? WTH is that?

Ummmm, correct me if I am wrong, but it didn't look like the angel base even attached. I don't know why they are trying to force it as part of the composition of this piece. Plus she doesn't interact with it in any way. Just lose that piece, fix the bunny teeth and you are back in business!

There is a video shown here on the thread that will show you that there is a gap between Magdalena and the angel statue... The gap is there because of the cape and also the floor of the base does not interlock... They are two separate pieces...

Remove the angel and change it to a more simple but elegant base..
