XM Studios concept Witchblade (anime style bust - Thailand Comic Con)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YICleMpbiU0
(1:30 mark)

This was seen in a fan video taken from the 2015 Thailand Comic Con that was posted to Youtube. It had no tags or labels, but was put on display in the middle of XM's booth area.

After taking a screenshot, XM was asked about it on their Facebook account, and they replied with the following answer:

This Witchblade was on display at Thailand Comic Con in the middle of your booth setup. Can you tell us more about it; is it a bust, is waiting to be green lit, is it XM or someone elses sculpt (etc)?

XM Studios Premium Collectibles It a concept we are still looking into...

So just to be clear, this has nothing to do with the 1/4 statue that you've created a 3d model for already? It'll be something separate from that scale?

XM Studios Premium Collectibles Yes

I like that it's a different body type/facial design. A very beautiful Anime look.

However, if they want it to be different from the 1/4 scale -- ditch the tendrils on this OR the 1/4 sculpt.

I'd prefer them removed on the 1/4, but that's just me

Her face is beautiful looking. I really like the sculpt I think she should be made into a full statue. I mean all that's missing is the legs I feel like you might as well go all out at this point :lol

Looks great. Me like...but why not make a full size statue instead of a bust?

Because not everybody loves the anime look and a 1/4 scale done with a likeness of an artist who worked on the comic may sell better.

I, for one, don't collect statues with anime style if that's not how it was originally designed.

Same here. Not an anime fan at all. I tire of the big goo goo eyes. Not saying that is a flaw...but a style I don't enjoy.

I will always choose more realistic styles over anime.

I like how this looks better than the full sculpt shown.

I say finish the legs on this for another 1/4 piece most of the sculot is done anyway.
