Faithful actually is an understatement. They took actual art from the comics and crudely animated over it...like lips moving or a single arm moving. So the art and story follows the comics perfectly. But by today's standards the animation is awful but for those of us who grew up in the 60s and watched them on TV as kids, this is a nostalgic slice of our childhood. I loved 'em.

Also, you can pick up individual VHS recordings of each Sub-Mariner, Iron Man, Hulk, Cap and Thor from this series.
