Making a base heavy? Need help!

I need to create a base that is really heavy so that my sculpt doesn't tip over. Anybody have any suggestions? What do the pros do for their full size statues? The main problem is that the base will not have a wide surface area and my character is heavy and leaning forward.

If its solid resin and thick like for most statues, it should work. If not and you want weight you can melt or put lead pieces into the base. Simple fishing lead weights can work, sorta like if ever saw or were in boy scouts and did the pinewood derby. You can drill holes into the wood at the bottom and melt lead into them to hold them down on the track.

I've used some lead weights in the past on some busts that needed weight. Just drilled into the bottom, added some of my pops old fishing weights and plugged it back up with aves.
