Yeah I and a few others brought up the curved mask situation to XM. Apparently, it's going to be one of those hair dryer situations where the owner will have to use a hair dryer to get it into position the way they want.

I personally, don't own a hair dryer and don't want to go out and spend money on one just to straighten out the bolts on the head sculpt. So we will see if this is indeed how it comes shipped to us...or maybe since it doesn't ship for another month or so, the bolts on the head will be more straight...rather than curved.

this isn't what I hoped for. With my luck I will snap the thing if I try to fiddle with it. oh well, let the games begin!

Yeah that's my fear too. I don't like fiddling with my statues once I get them.

The bolts look far too curved to straighten out like the original version. Guess it depends on the material being used. The head-on view does not look appealing at all with curved bolts.

Was able to reduce the height of the ghost rider spike by 3 inches after heating the chain so maybe it will be possible, but I'd rather not have to take the risk, given that 6 of the 7 bolts will need to be modified.

All I want to know is how did you beat Grumpy in posting this news ?

All joking aside this is great news to know that XM continues to listen to fans, and act upon making changes through production.

Most companies wouldn't even care, but XM cares about their fan base.
