Yeah.. good run this morning with David at Action City. Got three busts that my bro-in-law's been looking for, and a hardback and some comics for myself.
I'm officially done with the current studio I was "contracted with" here in Seattle, and they continue to breach that contract. Should be amusing if they try to sue me, since they so flagrantly keep renigging (I hate that word) on items in said contract. They owe me almost $10k for on-the-spots i've done for them, and I owe them $8k (I have to pay them to use their studio for my paying gigs, which is why I'm building one in my house)..keep in mind $8k is not even two months of work, so I'm not bilking them.. I was holding off on paying them since they REFUSE to pay me my $10k) , at this point.. I say let them keep the $2k extra just so I can get the f#ck away from them.
Saw Tropic Thunder tonight with Cyn.. she came up with the dogs today.
AWESOME movie... most of today's comedies (like, 99% of them), I don't find funny (potty humor especially), but this is HILARIOUS... throughout the movie. So many cameos, also (Tom Cruise's is ... just... yeah... he's redeemed himself a little.. haha).
FYI, Tropic Thunder is NOT for kids. Do not take this warning lightly.
Oh yeah, Cyn gave me the green light to come down in September, to Los Angeles, since I'm livid about the studio situation up here. Gonna spend some time in San Luis Obispo with friends and family, then hit Los Angeles to see you guys and some other buds (and Grandma.. wheee). So, yeah.. let's figure out a date between Luis, Dan, Merl, and whoever else in here who wants to meet up.
Uh.. that's it.
Go Dazzler!! Hope you guys had fun today.
