Ugh, stupid Gmail put my notification for the DM cover of Captain Marvel in my junk folder, so I missed out on CGN. Bit the bullet and got one on eBay for a few bucks over cover price. Super bummed. Anyone snag one from CGN? What was the total amount after shipping (and/or tax as well)? What is the likelihood of them having it back in stock for their original price?

I started reading the Carol Danvers - Ms. Marvel/Captain Marvel omnibus and wow, are those early issues dated. Carol took a break from the military to work as an editor for J. Jonah Jameson's 'Woman' magazine and Jonah might as well be Archie Bunker with all his derogatory remarks about women.

Also, I didn't realize Captain Marvel's amnesia in the movie about being Carol Danvers was similar to the books.

other than finding items on Ebay, I have always had good buying experiences with both Cheap Graphic Novels and In Stock Trades. I actually find Cheap Graphic Novels more user friendly.

Thanks, I usually buy my Omnibuses from In Stock trades, but I only seem to find the standard versions! Hoping to find another source for getting them!

CGN for me as well. They go quick though, depending on the title! I missed out on Captain Marvel because the email about it being in stock went in my stupid Gmail junk folder. Had to get it from eBay for close to MSRP.

Hopefully that will be the final cover to the omnibus.
