Not one of the colours on the classic base stands out as being unusual. They're all common place in Chinese traditional architecture. Just not typically in this fashion.
I like the white rendering over the clay. And I think the babyblue will go well with Chun's brown stockings.
Whatever the case, it's unfair to judge without seeing it in context with the entire statue.
Edit: There we go and looks like I was right.

Something about the dragon and arc bricks BOTH being matching baby blue rubs me the wrong way.
Probably mostly due to my initial impression that were unfinished printed resin yet to be painted.

I personally love these bases, it would be good to know if you can swap these if your buying 2-3 but doubt it's needed anyway but it's fun to play with
