Looks like you will need to sand off the drips and then use some with paint and then another coat of some white pearl.

wasn't the reason metcap was delayed because of QC problems? and this is the QC version? getting mine today. hopefully it was worth the wait.

Ya you can paint over the blue, wont effect much other then doing two coats. First white coat may pull up some blue if too wet. But if its a big drip then even painting over with white will show the drip.

So can either sand down as stated (just the drips) and paint over white or just paint over.

Havent seen one in person but need to match the white which ever color they used.

The best way is to paint over it, I would avoid sanding unless necessary.

You know after reading this I feel worse for all of my fellow collectors who dished out $190 + shipping upfront for this piece.

Not only did everyone have to wait nearly a year for there Statue but now we have to deal with a bigger scare upon receiving it.

Does anyone feel that the fans should have received some sort of compensation for all our troubles?? I sure do as we all work hard for our green.

The one in the pic above is bad and should be returned to BD.

Others that I've seen aren't incorrect, if you look closely the scales on the blue were actually sculpted to hang into parts of the white. It's the same in the Classic & FB Caps released a couple years ago as well. So those aren't paint drips, they are painting the blue correctly over the sculpted scales on the white area - Not a QC problem
